Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my website! I have had much more traffic then I ever expected and count myself extremely lucky that anyone is the least bit interested in what I am writing or even anticipating the publication of my first book Breaking and Entering. I have been working on this book for 2 years now. I have made the mistake of setting publishing dates and not actually meeting my self- imposed deadlines. This is incredibly frustrating for me. I am not setting a new date but I assure you that it is sooner than later! If you will subscribe to my email list, you will be the first to know when my book is released!
With that being said, I will share a little bit about myself...
I have always lived in KY. I attended college at Murray State University where I studied Fine Art with a concentration on Drawing. I then moved back to my hometown for a year or so and pretended to attend Center College. I lived on the edge of campus with all the college students and spent a lot of time sitting in on classes that I never paid for...sorry Center but you provided a very good "free" education to me! Nobody ever questioned my appearance. My friends all new I was just a wannabe, I think they loved me anyway.
I then I had it in my head that it would be a good idea to move to Lexington where I lived with a bunch of "Dead Heads" ....which of course then resulted in following the Grateful Dead for about a year. I will just say, It was an education of a different kind! Then I moved to Louisville for about a year and decided to get my act together. Then I again returned to my hometown of Danville and met my husband.
We still live in Danville and I have been attending Eastern Kentucky University. My husband and I will be married for 20 years in June. We have amazing children, an even more amazing granddaughter, a giant Newfoundland, and a stubborn Olde English Bulldog. Our life here in Kentucky is very full and regularly chaotic. My children ranged in age from 13 to 22 and are always in need of my undivided attention. I am guilty of setting all things aside just to hang with my husband and kids as much as possible...this often leaves me with mountains of laundry, house keeping, and everything else to sit and patiently await my return. I don't have much to give my children besides my love and time, so in that respect they are rather spoiled.
Again, thank you so much for visiting, subscribe to my email list so you can get the latest release and signing info. In 2015, I have plans to make it to several signing events and I am excited by the prospect of meeting some of you and getting lots of feedback!
Karyn
